So a little bit of an update of sorts I guess. So I've used Seachems reefers salt for several years so I decided to step it up a bit and go to their high end mix, Salinity. I've mixed a couple of batches now for my current system and really like the readings so far. They've been bang on to their claims. It mixes relatively nice so no complaints so far and mixes about 225g's. A little pricey so here in Calgary you have to watch, found price differences of over $30 from one LFS to another.
And I really like this locking ratchet feature of the lid, one finger to unlock it to loosen the lid, especially for a one armed gimp like me. But the carrying strap did come off on one side of the bucket while I was carry it while it was still full, so I'm not sure if this is a common problem. Not fun especially with how heavy it was.
