Myself, I enjoy natural surroundings when I am fishing so I prefer lakes in the wilderness such as Weaver Lake (stocked with trout), and Lightning Lake in Manning Park (not a stocked lake but has resident trout). For others, the surroundings are not important. In that case, urban lakes such as Como Lake and Lafarge Lake are productive for a few weeks after they are stocked.
The lakes at Sasquatch park (Hicks, Deer, Trout) are supposed to be productive. Rolley Lake in Mission is another popular one.
During the day, the trout are near the bottom so placing Powerbait a foot or 2 above the bottom should work well. I've found that trout are most active near sunrise and sundown. During those times, float fishing works better since they are feeding at the surface.
