The dates are correct. The coral was from a new shipment and hadn't had a chance to color up in their holding tank yet. So I placed it directly under my pendant high in the tank that has a photoperiod of 12 hours a day. Of course, if we put this coral in someone else's tank, it could turn another color. I don't know if the Actinics have a role. It might not in this case because the actinic is placed at the front of the tank but its the top of the coral that is changing colors.
I think J&L had something like this a while ago and it also colored up in their tank and then they labelled it as plum color acro, put it on their New and Noteworthy page and it was sold right away. I remember that because I wanted to buy it but someone else got it first.
