Nice work on the DIY GFCI extension cord. One thing though, couldn't help but notice that there did not appear to be any kind of strain relief for the cable going into the plastic box holding the GFCI receptacle. You siliconed the male plug for extra moisture protection, but the box with the GFCI is pretty much open to moisture through that opening for the cable, effectively negating the the benefit of the waterproof cover you added. Not a deal breaker but a strain relief is required by code on any cable going into or coming out of any kind of service box.
