Hey Kelly i would agree with Ian when it comes to running bio pellets inside canister filters, the reverse flow on can canister filters just dont tumble the pellets enough to warrant them useful. Infact i believe the pellets would eventually clog up overtime, as seen in the biostars/bioballs inside the canister.
