Default Attaching Soft Corals to Frag Plug?

Hey guys,

so I have this soft coral thats started growing on the base of my Frogspawn Coral and I didnt really like its location but I dont mind its look. It looks somewhat like a blue pulsing xenia but without the pulsing. Its tentacles also are not as long. Im not sure what it is but its pinkish blue with many polyps about the size of a xenia.

Anyways, if anyone knows what it might be let me know, but thats not my main question.

What I'd like to know is why this thing wont stay glued down to a frag plug? I cut it off the frogspawn coral and glued it to some frag plugs using Tailored Aquatics Aqua-Glue Gel. It held it for a while but then all 4 of the frags released over night and are floating around my tank the next day.

I re-glued 2 of them and the same thing happened when I placed them in my overflow box since my first inclination was that something in my tank ripped them off.

Is this a common problem? Thoughts?
