At this point in your cycle I would not worry about doing water changes. I would let it runs its course. You would want to do water changes if you had livestock in there that would be harmed due to your high levels of Ammonia.. but you don't so its okay. You'll do water changes towards the end of the cycle to remove the final product Nitrite. Once the tank has finished cycling there should be a balance of bacteria which will convert Ammonia into Nitrite and Nitrite to Nitrate so you should not get readings for Ammonia or Nitrite. Then just water changes to remove the Nitrite.
