I have 3 x 14k halide bulbs (cheap china no namers) in the middle. And right now I have just 4 x 54watt x 48" cheap chine "blue" bulbs. 2 on either side of the halides. I wanted to switch one on either side to fiji purples cause the "blue" bulbs aren't quite actinic, just blue, but they still make the corals fluores..
