Trevor - the camera is a Kodak DC280 (2.0 MP) so nothing special, but I use a 7x and/or 10x diopter for closeups. Typically set for auto-white balance (or fluorescent), auto-ISO. No flash, and exposure set to -.5 to avoid washout. No flash, (the camera flash is kind of lame) and I rest the camera right against the glass for the macro shots. It's been real fun learning to make decent shots with what I thought was a piece of junk.
