Too bad you are not in Vanc I would let you try my Nano wave box,
However, it will work in any tank rectangular or not as long as there is a level difference between tank water and inside the wave box.
The only case it would not work is when frequency of the "PERFECT" wave is outside of controller adjustability.
I am on my second wave box in my 36”: tank and 1st one was “original”, now I have Nano wave box, and Nano does same job on my 60 gal in terms of waves.
