Well here is the progress from the weekend.....
I am just about ready to move the old sump down into the basement and plumb everything together. The new tank should be finished filling at some point tomorrow and then I will add salt and mix and bring upto temperature. I just noticed looking at this pic that I put the back check valve in the wrong place so I will have to cut it out and move it over the top of the Tee. I added the Tee on the return for future additions

I decided to try to plumb the drain in a way that I could open the shutoff valve that you see on the lower drain pipe with the Tee (main drain) and have the smaller sump run on its own with the upper floor display tank so I can do larger water changes in the new tank without having to turn off the entire system.
So Hopefully next weekend I can drain the existing sump, move it down to the stand that you see on the right, finish plumbing it all together and fire it up.
Basically what I wanted to have when everything is said and done is a main reef display on the main floor, a fowlr in the basement, and the sump in the basement. WOW!!! Hope this all makes sense.
