Default Questions about pods and Bryopsis.

I've had the tank set up for a bit over a month now. Quinn, I'm happy to report that even though I have about 250 lbs in the tank it will still have room for fishies to swim around. About 30 lbs of that is in the sump/refugium. I'll post a picture tonight. In any case, even the latest LR has already cycled but I'll be leaving the tank only with the cleanup crew for a while. I'm not going to add anything else until early september. The skimmer is still pulling out about 100ml every day or so. So now the questions. . ...

I have patches of Bryopsis growing It's not choking out entire areas of rock but as we know it might if I leave it. So far the snails I have in there are not really touching it, probably too long for them. I'm waiting for someone to have Red Scarlet hermit crabs in stock before I add a few. Will they eat the long patches which the snails are leaving behind? Or, would Turbo snails be better? I could add Turbo or Red Scarlets, is there anything else I can add as far as cleanup crew goes Right now I trim some of the patches every week. Will the skimmer eventually starve them out of nutrients?

Now then, I'm not going to put any fish in there until early september. So far I've only added Reef Solution from Ecosystems and Reef Plus from Seachem as "food". Should I be feeding my pods something to make their population explode And exactly how many pods does it take to have an "explode"d population of pods? Try and say that 5 times really fast.
