Ya ya, I know its a weiner sump but hey, it gets the job done and well you see the hole we had to make in the stand (times two). I wanted to be able to get the skimmer in and out with (relative) ease and mess around in there if needed without having to lose 50lbs to get skinny arms to fit in there
As it is I need longer arms. Dang that thing is tall. And yes Alan, it is definitely taller than me. All in all I have about 2-3 inches of clearance between the hood and that ceiling support in the picture.
