And I mostly liked it for the simplicity and fool proof skimming it gave me. Also great customer service. However, for straight out skimming, most other models I have seen are as good.
I know I will go with Euroreef, if I switch to a similar type tank. However, that does not mean its a good skimmer.  I just like the reviews I have seen and the price, plus the custom fit for ones specific tank. |
Apparently ((and I don't know if this is true) I would have to get a new collection cup to fit the 9002 in the back of the Solana. I know I have to take the magnet off and that's a pain but I really don't want to have to buy a new collection cup too!
I spoke to Todd at Global Aquarium Supply and he can ship me the Euroreef nano for around $30 through regular post as a 'gift'. So customs is not a problem.
I really would prefer the Euroreef but I don't want it sticking out of the top of the tank.
