I was lucky enough to find a job that pays the same as peddle runs, but I don't work near as hard. I transfer trailers from yard to yard across the city for Maple Leaf. It's a lot of getting out and coupling/uncoupling, so it keeps me fit, which I like, but it's not slave labor either!!
I got a in. was told if I get my class 1, I can have a job driving regional (between west coast and alberta) when ever I want to start, just not sure if thats what I want to do yet. got a line on driving school bus also, but also wanted it to cover any other class as there are a few jobs I am looking at that want you to have a class 3 to drive the work trucks.. but I may just go back to school. I am lucky in the way that I have my pension from the millitary so I don't have to make a killing just a deicent wage.
