Fair enough but...

You seriously think the Pens could crush the Hawks?!? The Hawks were not 6th in league (3rd in the west) for no reason. 2nd most goals in the west and 3rd least goals against. Very complete team.

It isn't all about numbers but anyone who thinks this Hawks team is lucky or some kind of feel good story is very wrong. They are a legitimate contender and the only reason people did not take them seriously before the playoffs was their age--they have proven that wrong.

They came out and took the Canucks game and threw it back in the Nucks face. It was no secret that the Canucks came into the series ready to bang and crash the Hawks. Did you see the hand shake after game 6? Said it all...the Hawks looked like a team that was ready for the first game of the playoffs and the Canucks looked like they had just gone through a war. Canucks had ALL the bumps, bruises, cuts yet the Hawks are the team that played a rough and tough first round against the Flames while the Canucks sat around in Yaletown.

All I am saying is that this Hawks team is going to be very tough for anyone to beat. Everyone knew they could outscore most teams in the league but I don't think most knew how tough they were. They also can play any game you want--they have a great stanley cup winning coach.
Yes I know the Canucks were beaten, but lets face it, the Canucks aren't that great..their goalie was the only real strength they have. Their defence is like swiss cheese and their forwards inconsistant at best. Chicago is a good team but I still think in the long haul they would lose to the Pens...Still going to cheer for my Bruins....Still the Beasts of the East
