You can make that exact setup for about 10 bucks. I bought 5 of those floats for 25 bucks shipped. And a $3 extension cord from homedepot. The leads on the floats are rated for 300v, the 28 gauge wire is more then enough for the 25mA my aqualifter draws. My ATO has been running for a month or so like this. Whole setup cost less then $35, pump and reservoir included.
