what is the narrowest and quietest chiller available? i have a spot i can fit only about 9-10" wide at most if i try to cram one in between tank and sofa. so it cannot require venting on the sides. looking from 1/10 -1/4 hp. so far been looking at jbj artica at 9.8" wide.
i think i cooked my tank yesterday after installing my new lights. temp was at 85-86 could have been higher if i didnt see it and left it going. so i installed 5 computer fans blowing accross, and into the water and under the lighting. temp has been holding at 80. so far so good. had one casualty over night, my blue spot ouch.
i had hoped that my new semi-open top would help with heat but it did not. i have 3 250w running, may have been overboard for my tank but love the brightness, it is way brighter than my 400w.
