Default 75g equipment selloff

75g tank is now shutdown, the following equipment is now for sale:

Stand and Canopy [SOLD]

Note, built for a 48x18 footprint, so would work well for a 90g. Stand is an internal 2x3 frame with a stained oak exterior. This was a DIY project I did, and consequently it is overbuilt like a brick outhouse. The front has 3 cabinet doors for access, the back is open with a single centre post. You can fit a 40g, 30g or 20g tank inside for a sump.

The canopy is 3/4" oak plywood stained to match. The whole front panel lifts up for access to feeding and etc.

The hood itself is wired for 2 mogul halide sockets, has a parallel reflector, and sockets for 2 VHO's. It is ventilated by 2 variable speed Icecap fans with sensors mounted above the halides.

The exterior is in reasonable shape, it could stand a new coat of varnish. The interior of the hood is something I would consider stripping out the hardware, and painting white.

$150 for the stand and hood.

Lighting

- 2 x 250W probe start (ANSI M58) ballasts, $30 each or $50 for the pair.

- 2 x 110W VHO ballast, $80

- 2 x 110W URI replacement actinics (never got around to using these, so they are brand new), $50 on their own, or FREE if you buy the ballast.

Pump [SOLD]

Little Giant 3 external pump, $70

Glass [SOLD]

The tank itself is in rough shape. The glass is scratched from a previous owner who used silica sand for a deep sand bed. I didn't notice it too much if I kept the glass pristinely clean, but my opinion on this is that this tank's days as a display are done. It's developed a leak so it needs to be resealed were someone to use it as a refugium or basement sump or water change tank or whatever. FREE

The sump is a 50g with baffles glued in and hole drilled for float valve for ATO. It does not fit inside the tank, I had run this in my previous house in a room behind the tank and in my current house I just had it in behind the tank. It is not pretty (it has a DIY repair job for example), but it is functional. $20

To sweeten the pot for the 75g tank, I'll let the sump go for free if you take the 75g tank at the same time.
