It's not like I try to install them with a hammer. Of course, I'm careful. So far, I've installed 18 bulbs into my fixtures and broken one during installation. Unfortunately, one is still unacceptable. I suppose it depends on the fixture, but there is a certain degree of force required to install bulbs into my fixtures. If nothing else, I recommend testing the installation of a bulb into any fixture you might be planning to purchase.
