i totally hate that poster, but it's pasted to the wall. the evaporating salt water was causing it to wrinkle but i expect with the canopy that will stop. the guys on the bikes are totally 80's style, really cheesy helmets and no suspension fork (even kids have suspension forks these days). not nearly as cool as canadian man on his ultra-light, overly-expensive road bike
would you believe that when i was young, i wanted a mural of a reef on my wall like joeys only near mcmahon used to be, but this was before we moved, so i couldn't, and then i got out of the whole fish thing until... last december... and now my cousin has an awesome mural, and he's not even into fish (freakin volleyball players). and i'm stuck with cheesy mountain bikers. don't get me wrong, i ride as well, but the poster just doesn't work in my room...
the canopy is 16" high. the stand is a good 36", the tank is 30", therefore you're looking at a total height of about 7'. i have to stand on a stool to see over the top (i'm 5'11" and 15/16ths). the entire front opens, as you can see, and on top is just a piece of 1/4 plywood, so i can access it that way if i have a step ladder. i'll hopefully finish it completely tonight (handle on front, 2x4 horizontally to hold the lights up, put the lights in, wire them up)... if i get that far, you can count on more photos.
