So if pointed at the front which is a half circle, would it just hit the front of the glass and follow the curve and create a whirl pool effect? I don't want to waste my money if it won't create a wave due to the curve. Does anyone have any experiences or thoughts to share? For flow at the moment I have 2 Hydor Koralia #4's and my return is a Sequence Reeflo Barracuda.
i once emailed tunze about their wave box nano for my 92 gal 1/4 cylinder. the response that i got was that it would not be very feasible in my tank because of the shape of my tank, the waves would be very irregular and the wave box may not fuction properly. they suggested i go for alternating power heads for my setup.

not sure if it would work on a half circle. might want to borrow one and test it out before you buy one.
