The beta fish (Cirrhilabrus bathyphilus) wrasses were doing really well so they came home from the shop last night. I released them into the display and they both dive bombed into the rock. The female found a good spot at the bottom of the tank and rested there for quite a while. The male didnt have it so good. The spot he chose is frequented by my now aggressive flame angel( he wasnt before, when I had the bi-color angel), who proceeded to harass (pun intended) the newbie for the rest of the evening. Im assuming the pair spent their first night in the tank alone. There was no sign of either of them in the morning and I spent my morning at work thinking I should have rigged up the egg crate top the night before. So......I ran home at lunch to find the pair reunited and not straying to far from what I guess is home base for them for now(a rock in the back of the tank). Both fish ate with the rest of the gang first feeding and in watching them tonight they are slowly expanding their roaming. I havnt been able to get a pic of my own yet, bit I found this old thread about the fish from another forum that contains a few good pics http://www.reefs.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=69550& .
