Living in Sechelt, it's a 30 min drive to the ferry, a 40 min (and 50-something-dollar) ferry ride to horseshoe bay and then....however long it takes to go where we're going. Drew
loooves driving me to all the LFS and as far as Ladner and Abby for frags (please note the heavy sarcasm)
It's definatley an all day trip.
We usually go to "town" once or twice a month, and we do other things than visit fish stores....sometimes.
I think it's a pretty fair ways to go, but I enjoy it.
