I choose the Lumenbrights over the Lumenarcs for a few reasons but mostly because they are meant to be mounted much higher from the water surface and still give out better PAR than most other reflectors. They apparently should be about 18-22" up off the water which is great for heat issues
Also giving great coverage.
I was reading the long thread on RC about Lumenbrights vs. Lumenarcs and most of the people who used both said they like the Lumenbrights better. The only downside was if you have a canopy, then they usually don't work out too well since they have to be so high up...then the lumenarcs were better.
