Hey guys

this weather in vancouver seems to be wreaking havoc on my tank,
normally tap water is clean enough here in van that we dont need to use r/o water but with all the snow and what not lately my tank has had a pretty bad outbreak of brown/red algae (cyano)

and ideas how to cure it without getting a filter or buying distilled water?
