Actually except for maybe RDO, most other boards are the same. Political & religious discussion always ends in a heated argument, which really has no place on an aquarium board.
For anyone wishing to argue those topics, for whatever reason, on a reefing board, {I know thats not this thread}, give the sump on RDO a go.
Actually RC even created its own board for that purpose, but it got so bad I think they closed it.
And I would guess there are boards out there, for discussing those topics, { discussing,
, now thats a laugh}.
Anywho, like most of the other reefing boards, we just dont wish to moderate those types of threads or have to make decisions on our members after they get into a heated argument and name calling session.
