As far as a good replacement fan, it really depends on your room. Do you know how big the current fan is? I suspect 40mm or so but you should measure so that you can see what else is out there. www.ncix.com is a great site for low cost computer parts. The current fan is 60mm but only about 15mm deep and is rated ~20db. Most higher capacity fans seem to be 25mm deep. So I will have to remeasure to see if I can fit a 25mm in. Thanks for the link.
