2 links I could find. All fish are different. One trigger may be completely harmless, the other may be a terror. Its something you need to try out and just risk it.
I agree, its add in and watch. I've seen many reef tanks with Niger triggers and no problems. I found the smaller the trigger the less of a chance of it attacking snails and shrimp. I like the 2-3 inch in size ones.
