Gosh, I just can't figure out why my nano grows SO MUCH FREAKIN ALGAE!!
Phosphates?: 0.008ppm (TA phosphate destroyer) check
Nitrates?: between 0 and 5ppm check
RODI water?: Check
regular water changes?: check
test TDS of topoff water: 392.
now thats SMRT.
Note: apparently don't use a IO bucket as a topoff container
