I'm using a
Grow Light LED Panel. It's 12" x 12" x 1" and only uses 14W. It's suppose to be equivalent to a 250W halide for growing as it only provides the blue and red spectrum that plants use.
I didn't think it would work well but I tried it and it work really well, my macro is growing better than ever before. And it only costs $50! Combine that with it's low heat generation, low power consumption and 15 year life and it's hard to beat.
