When I feed my other two, they do bring the mysis over to their mouth. It will completely fold over the quandrant over to the mouth. I'll see if I can take a video of it.
I'm thinking that if they eat anything, run with that. The lack of zooxanthellae concerns me a little, they have to get their energy from somewhere. Unless it's some bizarre species of zooxanthellae that's clear, but I thought zoox. was always brown. I dunno.
Also, I'm not sure that flow is the only variable for tentacle length. Mine is under a 250W and actually partially shadowed by the ritteri which is sitting higher. But then it also is on the side of the tank that's close to a south window, so some sunlight is getting onto it.
At any rate I wouldn't worry about the tentacle shape too much, they'll do their own thing. Overall it looks like it's doing well and if it is eating for you then it must be not too bad. I'll try some shrimp or prawn instead of mysis and see if it responds. My other two respond to smaller foods but maybe it's more about whatever they're used to?
