I had a prism pro for a couple of years and finicky is a bit of an understatement.
The first week after it was cleaned it would overflow the collection cup and dump gallons of water on the floor everytime my back was turned. The second week it would skim like a champ as long as it didn't lose its suction. The third week i would barely get any skimmate at all (but at least it didn't flood my floor) and would need to be cleaned which brought me right back to week one
