I have one as well for a tabby and a chocolate lab. When I first got it I was so amazed at how much fur would build up on the floor (especially for the cat). She didn't seem to mind it so I worked on making another cat
A friend of mine said she did the same thing and then later saw her cat sitting in the sun with a bit of a bald patch on his back. Now I'm a bit more careful about how "amazed" I get at that pile on the floor
