Until MAST or MACNA start recognizing corals for their rarity or collectability, the LE stamp will usually be given by the orinigal founder of the coral, or those who know the rarity of the species in question.
The LE stamp stays with the coral as long as it is a slow grower, or distributed in limited quantity by a few fellow reefers.
This is a controversial topic that many stay away from.
