How do I get the picture to just show up? I am trying to insert the same picture as I have the link to.

Ok so the link you're using is for the entire page of your photo album. With this page you have the opportunity to not only see your photo but to select from a bunch of photos above it. If you want to portray a single photo you must right click on the photo you have selected and then copy the link of that photo only. Like this:

Any photo that you want to post, the link must end in .jpg or .bmp or some type of photo file.

Then either choose the image tab (little yellow picture) or put [img] tags around the photo
