just for everyones info as there are probably a lot of people reading this the watts/gal rule should not be used.. better off to forget you ever heard it as it correlates to absolutely nothing except the exact same types of bulbs on the exact same size of tank which you can imagine is useless. if you want the big long explanation I will find one of my old ones and repost it or you can just search my name and watt/gal and you will probably find me repeating myself over and over.
