Has anyone just gone the "really long coil of tubing" way? I have talked to a few people who have told me the reactor with bio balls is not very effective compared to this method. Basically you just have a 25-100' coil of 1/2" HDPE tubing ($60) and a mag pump or similar hooked up to it. The ozone is hooked up to the venturi and it mixes with the water for quite a long time going through all the tubing. The exit of the tubing goes through carbon and thats it. You end up with a coil of tubing behind your tank but thats no big deal. I may try this but thought I would see if anyone has done so here before...
