There's a huge aquarium at the Vancouver Airport. Opened tonight. Anyone seen it yet?
"The new wing's most stunning feature, apart from new Northwest Coast Native art, is a pair of aquariums. One 114,000-litre tank houses 850 animals, including rockfish, anemones, sea stars and other indigenous marine life.
A smaller, 3,800-litre tank features 100 moon jellies, the most common jellyfish found on the coast.
Cowan said the aquarium has its own treatment plant and the Vancouver Aquarium has an aquarist on site each day to maintain the marine exhibits."
