I've thought of the ESPCA for possible kittens, but kittens are always the first to be adopted there. If she's at all interested in taking in another feline, my guess is that she'd want a kitten to help her through this most terrible disease.

I'm pretty broken hearted to hear that she's got some kind of cancer that may have already spread throughout her body. She spoke yesterday of the option of amputating part of her leg
The doctors have not yet given her a full daignosis, though.
She's still mourning the loss of her dear cat. I was only thinking of trying to make it easier on her emotionally if she had a kitten to care for. Dogs are certainly out of the question for a middle aged, sick amputee
