The yardmasters are a thing of the past, We tried centralizing everything to calgary 1 mypm (multi yard process manager) for 3 yards in Edmonton and that dident work so they moved the positions back to the actual locations. I am a OM (operations manager) similar to YM'ing but we are managers. We have gained alot of road jobs for a total of 7 road switchers and 1 pool going to Hardisty. We have about 27 yard jobs all which seem to start at 0600 makes my life hell...... compared to CNR Edmonton we are small but my god do we have volume our yard are insane 147% capacity on average, I would drive anyone to drink sittin in the office. Added a little pic of me runnin the unit out of town.
