That is about .0011% if I am correct. Based on Health Canada statistics there were 134,100 new cases of cancer. 2001 population was about 31 mil. people. That is about 0.0043%. Chances of getting cancer are about 4x higher than be a victim of credit card fraud.
You wanted to be paranoid? Well now you have an opportunity. BTW, Canadian Bankers Associations claims that frauds are on decline first time in last 10 years, due to improved technology.
