As for the 3 or 4 months, well I do intend to go exclusively RO this time around, so I'm hoping for some better performance. I would expect any mechanical device to experience wear and tear and thus have a finite lifespan, but I don't know what's a reasonable expectation for these kinds of things in terms of run hours. Do you think RO would be enough or should a person go RO/DI? (I don't have the DI part myself.. I suppose I could start saving up and change that eventually .... arrrgh! So .. many .. things ... to save up for ... so little patience... )
