It is a glass tank, 1/2". Manufactured in China. I had to wait for quite a while to get it in. That is part of the problem. My old tank is still set up at the other house. All my critters are in it, waiting for a new home. That is why I wanted to fix it, I have until November 1 to get out of the old house.
