Default Nice looking tanks without huge assortment of corals?

Does anyone have/know of somone who has a nice looking tank that hasn't gone crazy in it's assortment of corals? I'm meaning, like maybe 4 different species in total? I'm thinking of aquascaping my tank that way, and think the impact, visually, would be nicer than having a huge, confusing assortment of corals in the tank. And the stress on the corals would be less, without the heavy chemical battleground happening in my tank.

And can anyone think of fast growing soft/LPS species that would be good to fill large sections of the tank out, from a limited number of frags? I really like my pulsing xenia, and it's growing like a weed. Any other nice, fast growing corals? But I'm looking for corals that spread outwards, not ones that spread polyps through the water column like pests. Like, green star polyps vs. mushrooms.
