That's exactly what I was thinking. Never treat your tank with meds if you have corals, or even plan on keeping corals or inverts as they will die. Even if you did a 100% water change, the meds (or copper) gets absorbed into rock and sand which might be almost impossible to get rid of unless you redo your tank.
