Actually the bushmen secreted the poison from the skin of the Frogs and then just dipped the darts/arrows in the poison, hence the name "Poison Dart Frogs". Not very dangerous to handle safely. I belive they lose there potentcy in captivity. They are quite pricey... well I guess not compared to this hobby

. Moisture is maitained by a a little gimick that creates a constant moisture that kinda looks like fog, or you can just use a spray bottle in some cases. I've kept quite a few different Reptiles and Amphibians included one very nicely coloured Pac-man Frog.
