Before I had my first tank up I had a 10G stuffed full of rock as a temporary holding tank. I had it sitting on the ground (carpet) in the spare room.
I spent hours everyday laying on the floor just staring at my beautiful rocks.. (ask my wife..
) So I can relate to the excitement.
