It was 4-5" across when fully extended, smaller when 'bubbling'. It was hard to say, because it has its foot so far back in the rock (at least 3") that by the time it got out into the light, most of its mass was still unseen.
The clone is about 2" across, and is a bit smaller than the parent.
I was surprised when it split, but it seemed to react to the change in bulbs when we replaced it a few weeks ago -- immediately retracted into the rockwork and didn't come out until it was two.
