Sometimes you can just reformat the memory, but occasionally you'll lose complete access to the memory (happened to 2 friends of mine, because their computers crashed while downloading or clearing or something). It should however be covered by the warranty.

Honestly, you can get a more storage for the same price or better sound from other players but once you've used an ipod you won't go back. The interface is amazing. |
